"I want to be a sky waitress." - French Polynesian Rae-rae
After coming home from El Gallo Bravo #5 on Montrose and Clark, I quickly changed out of my work clothes, ate up my nachos and burrito, curled up in my new comforter, and turned on the Travel Channel.
I envy Anthony Bourdain with a passion. All he does is drinks, smokes, and eats his way around the world without abandon. Last night he was in the French Polynesian Islands.
Fun Fact: For centuries, traditional families in French Polynesia raised their eldest son as a woman, or Rae-rae, believing him to have divine qualities, and the best traits of both sexes.
Um... OMFG.
They still exist to this day and Bourdain had dinner with a couple of them. What a stud.
