Mondays suck. Especially cold gloomy rainy Mondays. Like today. I would've given anything to stay in bed surrounded by my fluffy pillows and under my warm blankets hitting the snooze button repeatedly for hours on end. Ah, what a life that would be.
Although, I must say that the best part of driving along Lake Michigan in the mornings is the sunrise. For those less fortunate then us Chicagoans, picture this: a behemoth red-orange half-disc glowing and hovering over the horizon like a bright ember being dipped into cool water. It's breathtaking. And insane. All at the same time.
But then again, I'd rather be hitting snooze. Right, Ilene? Right.
