"Let's go!!!!," said my roommate trying to get me to go out on a Sunday afternoon.
After Cajon class at the Old Town School of Music on Wilson and Lincoln, I came home with my very own cajon drum! So what better way to exploit it then by making my roommate play it while I play my guitar. And drink beer. "I'll butcher it," he says as I hand over the drum.
Cut to 15mins later when he's busting out hardcore riffs and bass-boosting drum beats as I strum my guitar in complete awe. After a stirring rendition of my original song, "Deflate," we laughed and laughed about the potential this guitar/drum combo has!!!
Summer 2009 on our back porch is gonna be a HIT!! All are welcome. Enjoy.
