On Saturday June 16th, Aligned Modern Health will celebrate the opening of its newest location in Lincoln Square. During the celebration, four local artists will showcase their work: Karla Rindal, Chas Appleby, Daniel Nolan, and Jon Coffin.
Aligned Modern Health's "Art of Wellness" events bring together a unique experience of music, art, and wellness. True health requires of the mind and body, Aligned Modern Health strives to provide a complete balance of both to help elevate the community towards a new of living.
Chas Appleby - Artist
I was born
into an extremely open and creative family. I should have known this is what I
would be doing for a living. I am an illustrator and designer with heavy roots
in fine art. The human figure’s beauty and complexity has always given me
inspiration for my work. My most current work revolves around the
independent film scene here in Chicago, where I create anything from investor
packages, posters, business cards, to even some prop art. Taking a step back
from illustration and design to work on what I enjoy most, fine art, is
something that keeps me motivated and fresh. Drawing and painting from life is
something I do very well. It is the years of practice that have given me the
confidence and style I carry into each piece. I hope you enjoy what you see
