"Wow! That may have been the greatest day of my life. I love errands, they're like mini-adventures for undesirables. " - Karen Walker (Will & Grace)
I had a blast driving all around Chicago this morning accomplishing my mini-adventures. After being suckered into joining the "Eyecare Club" at American's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, I headed over to Sprint to complain about my poltergeist-posessed cell phone. About an hour and a SuperCuts hair-cut later I come to find that my phone is irreplaceable. Which is great ... because if it were, then something would be gravely wrong with the universe. You see, things in my life rarely go as planned.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining one bit. You gotta take what life throws at you and make the best of it. Like the great Walt Disney once said, "keep. moving. forward."
And then something quite unexpected happened. As I got in my car at the Sprint store parking lot, I tried one more time to turn my phone on. VOILA! Like magic, the screen lit up and the power-on music never sounded so sweet.
